pretty in pink toddler room upgrade

In our old apartment, E’s nursery was thought out and coordinated. We had a floral pink theme and I was completely in love. Check out our old nursery reveal here. But when we moved into our new house, we went straight into wedding planning mode, and redecorating her room was the last thing on my mind. Now that we’re in quarantine and I’ve been spending a ridiculous amount of money on Amazon Prime, I’ve managed to upgrade her room for the low, and I’m actually pretty happy with how it all turned out. Because we were working on a small budget, most of the pieces were repurposed from her nursery. We just added a few more pieces to make her room more toddler-friendly.
I’ve had this floral monogram by BegoniaRoseCo since a few months before she was born, and it was one of the first things that I bought once I found out we were having her. So, even though we’re transitioning her to a big girl room, I wanted to keep this as a reminder of the love and excitement that I felt when I found out I was having a little girl.
Emery’s book collection is popping, and she’s very proud of it! And to be completely honest - most of these books were either free or were given to her as gifts. FYI, did you know you can get free books shipped to your child every month?!?
The Imagination Library is a book program that mails your child a free, high-quality book from birth until age five every single month. The program is only available in certain areas, but you can check here to see if the program is available to you. It took about a month for us to get our first book, but as you can see, we’ve been able to fill her bookshelf easily.
The room is still a work in progress, but I think it’s coming together well. I wanted to keep it cute, bright, and easy on the wallet. But if Emery’s anything like her mama, there will be a completely new color scheme and layout every 6 months (lol). Did you guys redecorate once you made the big girl/boy bed transition?
